Robby is a graduate student (Master of Architecture) currently attending the University of California Berkeley. He holds Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University and Southwest Jiaotong University. The dual educational background gives him a more comprehensive understanding of architecture design and graduate application. He will work at KPF as an Architecture Designer in the 2020 summer. He worked at CSWAD as an Architecture Designer in 2017 to 2018. He was awarded the Caudill Fellowship as the outstanding architecture graduate in 2019. As for the academic achievement, he was President’s Honor Roll (GPA 4.0) for three semesters and Dean’s Honor Roll (GPA higher than 3.5) for two semesters. In addition, he was admitted to Columbia University, Cornell University and Upeen with scholarship.
He also took part in some architecture activities in the past years. In 2018, he took part in the Central Stata AIA annual meeting and took a seminar at the Morphosis Architects in Los Angles. In 2017, he went to Japan and Korea for urban research. During that time, he took a seminar at the Kengo Kuma Architecture office. In 2016, he was a member of the CSWAD research team for surveying and mapping in Langzhong ancient city. In 2015, he took part in the Chinese official architectural forum: Beauty in Architecture through Structure.
