Jin Yuan received his Master of Architecture from Rice School of Architecture with Darden Award for thesis distinction. His thesis, Through Thick and Thin, was a celebration of spatial experiences, a mixture of two extreme plan types between highly scripted and altogether unscripted interactions. Jin has received awards and fellowships such as Archiprix 2017, China National Scholarship and John Crowder Traveling Fellowship. His works have been published by Archdaily, Bustler and as the cover of RSA Spotlight, he was also interviewed by Archiposition early 2017. Jin joined CAZA in 2016 and currently served as the team leader on Baler Hospital, Tan Mausoleum and a major competition in Manila. He loves art and history.
